Endowments are designed to make a lasting impact. These gifts are permanently invested, with a portion of its annual earnings used to support a purpose chosen by the donor. The principal remains intact, allowing the fund to provide support year after year, generation after generation.

Jim Hainlen Stillwater Orchestra Legacy Fund
Established in 2004 in honor of retired orchestra director Jim Hainlen in support of orchestra education at every grade level throughout Stillwater Area Public Schools
Dr. Tom F. Linde Fund for Music Programs at Stillwater Area High School
Established in 2005 by Dr. Tom Linde for Stillwater Area High School music programs including jazz band, concert band, orchestra, and choir ensembles
Ross Livermore Band Fund
Established in 2013 in memory of Ross Livermore, trombonist and ‘09 graduate, by Bruce and Linda Livermore in support of the Stillwater Area High School band program
Visual & Performing Arts
Ruth Geary Arts Fund
Established in 2005 by Lyman Geary in support of elementary visual arts and district-wide performing arts experiences
Literacy
Weingarten "What's Best For Kids" Endowment Fund
Established in 2001 in memory of Mary Jo Weingarten’s passion for reading to support literacy projects and reading initiatives across all content areas, from early childhood through grade 12
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
Lundquist Endowment for the Sciences
Established in 2006 by the children of Bill and Jeanne Lundquist to support elementary science education throughout the district
Steve D. & Jyneen E. Thatcher Endowment for STEM
Established in 2022 by Steven and Jyneen Thatcher to support science, technology, engineering, and mathematics initiatives in elementary and middle schools
Student Experiences & Scholarships
Nan Leekley LGBTQ Youth Fund
Established in 2021 by Nan Leekley in support of teen mental health, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention resources for Stillwater Area High School students who identify as LGBTQ or have LGBTQ family members
Building Trades Scholarship Endowment
Established in 2018 by Hugh and Marilyn Madson, providing scholarships for graduating seniors pursuing careers in the building and mechanical trades
